10-Yard Dumpster Specs

You’ve probably seen one in your neighbor’s driveway while they were renovating their kitchen: a 10-yard dumpster rental for disposal of the old cabinets, leftover drywall scraps, and broken tile. When it’s your turn to redo your bathroom, clean out your attic, or clear your grown kid’s bedroom in your empty nest, arranging for environmentally responsible debris and junk removal is imperative.

Delta Solid Waste Management provides 10-yard dumpster rentals throughout the Dallas–Ft. Worth metroplex. We serve residential and commercial customers, so if you’re redesigning or renovating your business location, we can help with a dumpster rental for that job, too.

We’ve provided a handy guide below that explains 10-yard dumpster dimensions. Remember that the “yards” refer to cubic yards (27 cubic feet) as a measure of the dumpster’s capacity. However, dumpsters also have weight limits. Talk with us about the type and quantity of material you expect to be discarding, and we can help you determine if a 10-yard dumpster is big enough or if you need to go up a size. For example, removal of heavy material such as roofing, tile, brick, concrete, or dirt typically requires a larger dumpster. But the 10-yard dumpster works well for most minor renovations and clean-outs.

How Big is a 10-Yd Dumpster?
